The second edition of Living bits and things is approaching fast and looking good. The speakers are announced and final agenda will make you sorry you cannot be in two places at once. Number of registered participants is rising quickly so we are warmly inviting to take a look at the agenda of November 27 and participate in largest regional Internet of Things and M2M event.

 

Program - taking IoT in the region to the next level





November 27 will be a busy day. After morning coffee, prominent plenary speakers will address the status and future of IoT and M2M. Afterwards, sessions will become more specific:

  • IoT and M2M infrastructure and services
  • Where is the value for smart business with IoT and M2M technologies?
  • Smarter citizens or smart cities?

In the afternoon, you are invited to attend workshops:

  • Smart Buildings and Energy efficiency
  • Why will smaller cities faster become smarter than bigger ones?
  • Major technology challenges for IoT applications?
  • Smart Business Applications
  • Open community in IoT

The formal part of the day will conclude with the round table "New business and new social models". The potential of IoT and M2M in Central and SouthEast Europe. And afterwards, we'll shake our brains with  “Cocktail Brainstorming” – watch it, learn it, make it and try it!

Rob van Kranenburg, Founding member at The Internet of People and Chair of the Working Group Societal at IOT Forum

He ranks nr 6 on the top 100 IOT thinkers list of Postscapes. He is a member of the IOT EG of the European Commission, co-founding Member of Internet of People (IoP) and Chair of the Working Group Society of the IOT Forum.

 

Zoran Vehovar, CTO, Telekom Slovenije

Zoran Vehovar has 21 years of experience in the field of electrotechnics. He has been working for Mobitel for the last 14 years, responsible for Technology and Network.

 

Jim Morrish, Machina Research, United Kingdom

Jim Morrish is a respected telecommunications industry expert, with over 18 years of experience of strategy consulting, operations management and telecoms research.
