TRON SHOW 2010 - TRON Project Symposium
TRON is an open real-time operating system kernel design, and is an acronym for "The Real-time Operating system Nucleus". The project was started by Prof. Dr. Ken Sakamura of the University of Tokyo in 1984. The project's goal is to create an ideal computer architecture and network, to provide for all of society's needs.

The 27th TRON Symposium, “TRONSHOW2011,” will be held at Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, Tokyo, from December 15 to 17.
At this year's symposium, the various approaches for the construction of the ubiquitous computing environment will be the main theme, and various achievements of the TRON Project will be introduced. The annual Enableware Symposium, “TEPS2011,” will be also held to provide an opportunity to consider supporting the disabled with computers.
On that occasion an international session will be devoted to the latest trend and future plans of "Globalizing Ubiquitous Computing" in Europe. Alessandro Bassi, IoT-A technical coordinator will prensent the IoT-A project.
