The European Commission and the FIArch Group cordially invites you to the 1st Future Internet Architecture (FIArch) open workshop.
The IoT-A project will be presented during the Future Internet Assembly with the kind support of Siemsn AG partner to the project.

TRON is an open real-time operating system kernel design, and is an acronym for "The Real-time Operating system Nucleus". The project was started by Prof. Dr. Ken Sakamura of the University of Tokyo in 1984. The project's goal is to create an ideal computer architecture and network, to provide for all of society's needs.
The Internet Architecture Board, the IETF Internet Area, the IETF Routing Area, the IETF Applications Area, and the European Commission will hold a workshop on the Friday, 25th March 2011 in Prague on the topic "Interconnecting Smart Objects with the Internet"

IoT-i is pleased to announce the launch of the IoT International Forum in collaboration with CASAGRAS2, CATR and Wuxi SensingNet and with the support of the European Commission.
The event will be held 5 - 7 October 2011 in Barcelona at the CosmoCaixa Science Museum. Participation is free of charge for EPoSS members. This year the Annual Forum is extended to a three-day event to accommodate an EPoSS Proposers' Day on relevant EU Calls, such as ICT Call 8 and the 2011/2012 PPP Calls. The EPoSS Proposers' Day is free of charge for all participants.

The first Smart-SysTech - European Conference on Smart Objects, Systems and Technologies will be held in Munich from June 12th to June 13th.
DOMe-IoT will continue an established workshop series on digital object memories. In 2012, its focus is on research issues related to agency and digital object memories. Things will be enabled to make suggestions and propositions to human users - which implies that an object may have a level of agency. The latter concept is a striking possibility that may change the way that we further relate to objects.
The Workshop will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, and will be co-located with the IEEE MASS 2012 conference.
Living bits and Things will meet for the second time in Bled on 27 November 2012.
After the two successful first Forum events in Berlin and Venice, the third meeting of the IoT International Forum will be held in Bled (Slovenia), 28-30 November 2012.

The event is organized by the European Integrated Project IoT-A (Internet of Things - Architecture) together with several research projects from the IERC European Research Cluster for the Internet of Things, such as BUTLER, Icore, PROBE-IT, IoT-Est, IoT6, CALIPSO, EAR-IT. Consequent support and input for discussions will be insured by the IoT Forum (www.iot-forum.eu)
CE Week Line Shows and Exhibits, June 26-27, is the center of attention during CE Week in New York. IoT-A project will be represented at booth #160 in the Altman Building, 135 W 18th St, New York, NY.
The objective of the two-day event is to build Future Internet partnerships across Europe in order to facilitate international cooperation and bring together stakeholders from the EU and its Associated Countries. A special focus will be on the Future Internet Private-Public Partnership.
